In honor of the 30th anniversary of my most favorite 80's fantasy film: Labyrinth! If you haven't seen it, you need to. It's amazing. 

This is part of my never ending quest to get better at art, especially while I can't go to college this semester. I wanted to practice portraiture, and instead of doing just black-and-white pencils (which probably would have turned out better) I decided to stretch myself a little and try a more realistic attempt than the last pastel portrait I did and go for some serious detail. Didn't turn out as well as it would have if I had just done pencils, but there's no growth in the comfort zone. But it still turned out better than I expected, and I am happy with it!
